Bob Seger tribute band to perform at Arcadia

Hollywood Nights, Music of Bob Seger has a solid rock history that they share with every performance. This New Jersey-based powerhouse will pay tribute to music great Bob Seger at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Arcadia Theater in Windber.
Arcadia Executive Director Jerry Ledney said Hollywood Nights will feature songs sung by Seger such as “Hollywood Nights,” “Old Time Rock and Roll,” “Against the Wind” and “We’ve Got Tonight.”
“When the Arcadia programming committee saw the video of Hollywood Nights the general conciseness was, ‘We must book that group,'” said Ledney. “This is the first time the group will play at the Arcadia and we know they will become an audience favorite.”
According to the background information on the group, it states that Hollywood Nights tours with and hits the stage every night with a baby grand piano.
“The band, and all of the members in it, prides itself on continuing the amazing groundwork laid down by Bob Seger over the past 30 years!”
Seger, who grew up in Detroit, is known for his music featuring love, women and the blue-collar lifestyle. Hollywood Nights emulates Seger defining the landscape of today’s tribute acts. The music of Bob Seger puts rock and roll back in touch with its roots.
