“Spring into Books” festival
The festival at the Bedford Arts Cooperative and will feature a full line-up of authors. Throughout the day, authors will give live readings from their works and be on hand to sign and sell their books along with several other reading-themed vendors. A variety of door prizes will be awarded to random guests. The festival will also launch the opening of the “Juried Student Art Show” exhibit that will run through May 31, inside Locality Gallery. The day will culminate with a production of the widely popular “Atomic Radio, Live Performance Radio Show” featuring special guest author, Tom Catalano. The “Spring into Books” festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free and open to the public. (Donations are appreciated). Following the book festival, there will be a grand opening and artists’ reception for the “Juried Student Art Show” from 5 to 6:30 p.m., followed by “Atomic Radio” at 7 p.m. Atomic Radio tickets will be available for reservation or purchase throughout the day.
