35th annual Autumnfest
11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays Sept. 28 through Oct. 20. This four-weekend celebration of the mountain’s dramatic and colorful transformation has become a tradition for families across the region and this year’s schedule promises to be one of the most exciting lineups of activities and entertainment. Autumnfest is a family-friendly day trip or getaway for all ages featuring over 80 artisans and crafters kids’ activities, pumpkin carving demonstrations, face painting, a hay bale maze, a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, pony rides, magicians and axe throwing. In addition, kids age 4-7 can try snowboarding for the very first time at the free Pirates Riglet Park. Each weekend of Autumnfest has a festive theme and a unique variety of fun to discover.
